The Honeymoon

Here's the layout of the land for the next few weeks. Basically we using American Airlines to get us around
since both Eileen and I made status with them and we can avoid all the line-ups and get on the plane first.
Small things really but somehow they make you think that's important! Here's our itinerary.

Where flying in Wednesday night late after work (ya, things are busy there, but it really makes you
realize that stuff just is not that important (gee I hope my boss isn't reading this). Oh, in case your not up
to date Eileen's working at Search Masters a division of Kelly Scientific and I'm at a consulting company
called Digital Innovators working on an insurance web site AmericaDirect.com.

May 24th.
Mom's having a party at the hotel room after 7 pm. Just across the street from the Oakville
        convention center so drop by.
May 25th.
This is the Big Day. Let's party hard.
May 26th.
It's a brunch hosted by the Ambrose and Dougherty families at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Travel day from Toronto to Rome. We are all setup with our headphones and music and ready to go!

May 28 (Tue)
Rome, Italy
Right out of the gates its a night out at the Opera at 8pm. The opera we're going to see is called the "La Vedova Allegra" opera and although its all in Italian I know we'll enjoy it.
Did you know that President Bush will be in town at the same time to visit with the Pope? I'm trying to get a seat at that table!!!
May 29 (Wed)

Rome, Italy
Again we are staying at the
Quality Hotel Nova Domus. We plan on doing the usual visits to the touristy things like the Vatican, Piazza's, .. Hey like they say "When in Rome..."
May 30 (Thu)

Ponza, Italy
We're heading a few hundred kilometers down south to a series of islands half way between Rome and Amalfi Coast just north of Naples. We're there to do some scuba diving and check out a small town/island just to hand out. We're staying at
Grand Hotel Santa Domitilla. A little better than the normal back packing places I usually hang out. Actually I take that back, my last visit to Italy I camped out with my bike so I really didn't get to many hotels!
May 31 (Fri)

Ponza, Italy
Again at the
Grand Hotel Santa Domitilla
June 1 (Sat)

Pompei, Italy
This should be fun to stay here since most people do it as a day trip and leave. As such there aren't many options for accommodations but that makes it more fun.
June 2 (Sun)

Amalfi, Italy
Although my original target for a honeymoon was further north at Sirmione on Lac Guarda (I swore my honeymoon was going to be there on my last visit) this is where I decided to go after seeing some awesome pictures of this coast and the fact that its "less busy" than at Sirmione. We're staying at La Bussola
June 3 (Mon)

Amalfi, Italy
Relaxing and taking in the coast line. Staying at
La Bussola
June 4 (Tue)

Amalfi, Italy
Still open on this but I figure we'll find somewhere else to try unless we really think La Bussola deserves us for another day.
June 5 (Wed)

Open, Italy
Who knows. Whatever fun stories we hear or figure we need to go visit next. Probably a night stay in Sorento or Salerno (home of Mrs. Mireschi).
June 6 (Thu)

Rome, Italy
Back again for any of the final places we missed.
June 7 (Fri)

Bright and early flight back home. It's a travel day from Rome to Chicago.
